Python Job Details

We're Mozo - a bunch of like-minded, financial revolutionaries, here to help you make smarter money decisions. A trailblazer in financial comparison, we’ve been providing Australians with practical money tips and expert analysis, challenging the norms and creating award-winning tools to help you master your financial journey since 2008.

What you'll be doing...

Help us run our Mozo financial product comparison site and our program of best product awards, by gathering information about financial services and other products from a range of sources, and helping us make sense of it all.

You will be part of a team that supports our Mozo business. We predominantly deal with the details of banking, insurance and other products; these are used on our consumer websites and are offered to industry participants as a competitor product comparison service, as well as being the main source of data in helping to judge our Mozo Expert Choice Awards.

You will contribute to the team’s purpose by gathering information and manipulating it using spreadsheets and SQL.

While your main focus will be supporting the upkeep of our database of product information and the gathering of information for our awards program, you’ll also provide general data wrangling support to your colleagues in other teams.

Experience that will put you ahead of the curve...

  • Have a natural ability to absorb large amounts of detail.
  • Be a methodical, cautious, proactive and thoughtful analyst.
  • Be driven to proactively chase down points of contention or unknown data points.
  • Bring strong experience with cleansing, manipulation and crunching of data, particularly advanced skills working with Google Sheets (or Excel).
  • Be able to write and use SQL select queries.
  • Google Analytics, Looker Studio or Tableau experience would be a bonus but not essential.
  • Python or R experience would be a bonus but not essential.

What's in it for You…

We have a fantastic culture where we really do care about our people and want everyone to succeed. Varied roles mean you’re not pigeonholed in to one finite area but get the opportunity to develop a wide range of skills and experience. We work from the office a minimum 3 days per week, to support individual development and cross-team collaboration.

Who are we…
